Winforton Street

The challenge here was to create a modern house on an infill site in an unremarkable street in Greenwich. We were required to respect the basic building form, scale and lines of the adjacent properties, but brought the new house to life through the use of different materials and crisp detailing. The natural slope of the land was used to create access to outside space on two levels.

There is a courtyard entrance to the front at ground floor level with kitchen, utility room and study provided. A large open plan living room occupies the whole of the first floor and provides direct access to the small secluded garden to the rear.
